Starter ($25/month) runs on shared compute with 1 GB database, 1 GB file storage, 5 GB bandwidth, 50,000 MAUs, and $10 compute credit. Professional ($150/month) runs on dedicated compute with 8 GB database, 10 GB file storage, 250 GB bandwidth, 100,000 MAUs, $50 compute credit, and multi-environment support. Enterprise is custom.
Each Professional backend supports multi-environment isolation (dev, staging, production). Your first production environment is included; each additional environment is $25/month. Enterprise backends include unlimited environments.
Usage above your tier's included quotas. Overage rates follow market standards: $0.125/GB database storage, $0.021/GB file storage, $0.09/GB bandwidth, $0.00325 per additional MAU, $2 per million real-time or edge function messages. A spend cap is on by default so you can set a maximum.
Each tier includes a compute credit that covers a base instance ($10 on Starter, $50 on Professional). If you need more compute, you can scale up to larger instances — from Micro through 16XL — with hourly billing for anything beyond the included credit.
SOC 2, HIPAA, and GDPR are available as add-ons on Enterprise plans. The infrastructure is compliance-ready; certifications are provided as part of a dedicated enterprise engagement.
Starter backends run on best-effort uptime. A 99.5% SLA is available as an add-on for Professional backends. Enterprise backends include up to a 99.95% SLA with service credits for violations.
No. Every paid Archie plan includes Archie Core backends. Pro includes 1 Starter backend, Team includes 3, Enterprise includes unlimited. You only pay separately if you upgrade a backend to Professional or Enterprise, add environments, or add more backends.
